Looking for good RoR host in the UK

Hi,

I'm looking for a basic RoR host based in the UK for hosting upto 5 RoR Apps. Bandwidth and space are negligable but price is important as I don't have much to spend.

I am currently learning RoR and want some space where I can upload the applications and run in production mode.

A host with Phusion Passenger would be preffered.

Any advice welcome.

A VPS may well be your best option, don't see anything wrong with your requests but if they are test applications, a VPS would allow you the greatest control over the server environment.

We have some servers in the UK as we are based here but if you drop me a PM, I can also give you a list of reputable UK hosts who have been operating for much longer than ourselves.

Would these VPS servers be ready to run Rails or would I need to configure them myself? I have played about with Apache and Mongrel servers but being a Windows guy for the last 15 years it's all a bit above me

 

We can configure whatever you need upon signup. RoR isn't exactly complicated anyhow.
