Hi During the last 2 weeks I saw the PR5 website I worked on for the last 2 years burried deeply in Google results and now it hardly receives any visitors from SE. I admit I used Link-Vault for the last 6 months which gave some good results for a while (was once no. 11 from 70 million results), but now it's nowhere to be found. People on this forum tell that last algorithm update hit some of the Co-op users as well. What can I do now to get it back in Google results? I removed the LV code, but will it matter...? Do sites recover after being penalized?
Yeah, but I need to provide evidence of good faith: I'll place a link to www.google.com on my homepage.
Tell them what was wrong with your site and what you've fixed. Be honest and up front. They'll know if you're spinning tales.
sorry for possible bad news, but my PR5 site has been hit with bad times and never had co op links, all pages indexed of whats left are supplemental, time to wait and see what prevails, I would'nt advise any drastic changes. Its google not you, mind you they seem to be sorting well at least for newwer sites.
i wasnt using link vault of co-op and i had all my pages de-index, after a while they have all return, i suggest you wait a while and then google will sort it self out. as the poster before said its not you its google..
Good news: my website is back in Google results, not too far from where it was, at least it appears again #1 for the site's name query. It took about 3 weeks since I submitted the reinclusion request. This experience taught me how hard the life without google is...
I thoroughfully explained that I never intended to breach Google policy and I was lured into this LV programme, but now I realize that I was wrong and would never ever do such horrendous thing again... It took 3 weeks since the request was sent. When I first found out about Google I thought it was just a machine that indexed the web. Now I know that Google has also a heart! (how lame is that)
