Hey, Today I got : 4 Page impressions 2 Clicks Page CTR 50.00% Page eCPM $1,210.40 Earnings $4.84 Is this good/bad?? I just threw up my new site, a few days back - still needs alot of work - changgs to placement, content etc. Not sure if the CTR and eCPM are good or bad though? Thanks nim3
i suppose you are new to adsense... exposing your adsense data like that could get your account blocked on adsense... it's a little too soon to say if it is good or bad, if you were receiving consistent traffic and had a CTR like that, it would look suspicious to google... now you have to wait until you get more traffic
Google says not to release your "statistics" like that. (Check their TOS). But, when you only have 4 impressions, you can't really take those stats as saying much about how your site will do with more consistent traffic.
I should add that my first few clicks were almost $10, then the next few were like .10, now they are like .50 to a 1.5, or so. That is with roughly 50 unique visitors a day, and around a 20% CTR. Another site I have gets %60 CTR and about $.50 a click, about 20 unique a day. It isn't a lot of money, but they are profitable.
A) you don't have to be a proffesor of mathematics to know that from 4 pageview you should not jump into conclusions. B) yep, you are not allowed to show that. C) eCPM greater than 50$ is a clear indication of click fraud. (when we're talking about more than 4 pageviews)
IMO, as stats wise, it's massive good. but dunno whether it's legit or not. for me less than 1% CTR LOL
It don't mean jack! With this pitifully insignificant level of data it could go either way with then next 5 impressions. And not necessarily a good niche...look at his traffic. I'd rather get hundreds of $0.20 clicks, will payout more in the long run.
Yeah probably not.... 4 impressions will not put you in the danger zone (unless your site is for mesothelioma lawyers in randomsmalltown, arkansas with 100 population, and even then I dont think you have enough impressions to set a pattern and get you banned) regardless of the ecpm, or ctr.... Once more impressions come in you will get a good average.
Please don't make posts like this when you clearly don't know! First, there is no "should be" for CTR. Second, 4 impressions don't mean squat when determining a CTR (or any other statistic)
