$45 Logo Contest - Local Greetings Cards - Logo representing Cards

I would like a logo for this website: http://www.localgreetingscards.co.uk, any colour scheme you like, but it must fit within the theme of the site. Here are the requirements for the logo.

• Contest ends Mon 4th March 2009 at 20:00 GMT
• Website Description: Pauline Harrison creates hand-made cards that feature well-known places of interest in local villages and towns. The cards can be customised by customers for use as birthday cards, anniversary cards, thank you cards, etc. The website displays the photos that can be turned into cards.
• The logo should be something that encapsulates greetings cards as a first priority. Capturing small villages/towns might be possible too.
• The logo should be created as a vector graphic to allow for resizing for a variety of stationary.
• The logo should be simple
• The logo may or may not be contain the phrase "Local Greetings Cards"
• The logo must not contain any tagline
• Payment for the logo will be via Paypal.

Sorry, I don't like it. I don't like the style of writing or the choice of symbol.

Good choice of text style, but the logo doesn't really represent anything.

Interesting choice of graphics, I don't think that the photo behind works. Also, there is no logo, which is required.

 

really good, as the emphasis is on local, which I really want. But there's no logo graphic... which I also want.

I love, It says it all, perhaps different colours though? The logo would be difficult to scale larger or smaller though.

I adjusted the colors and also blew it up a little so you can see the effects. I can also send you a black and white version. I use Illustrator so it is completely vector. You could put it on a billboard.

Thanks for the effort, but the logo doesn't have a clear message.

Don't like, do not want the name Caterham in logo, as cards are
from different areas. Also do not like writing or colours, sorry.

A good emphasis of local, and the logo with the post box is ok. However, it'd be difficult to use that logo on any white-background stationary.

Strange choice of colours given the website colour theme. Rather than "cottages" on the cards, perhaps a tree, cottage or church on the card?

Interesting attempt at a logo, but it's still a little too ambiguous. Perhaps you can come up with something that resembles a greeting card?
