Hi there, I want to know what are Top 5 Methods to get Customers online. Like SEO, PPC .... What are other good and effective methods ? Regards bushib
Forum posting -directory submission - social media submission - article submission - press release submission these are the ways to get effective traffic and customers... Hope it helps...
Agree with all of the above. Good SEO tactics - because I am an SEO guy, I am biased, but...You can also do things like buy traffic from StumbleUpon. In general, it depends on your timeframe. PPC is immediate, but costly. If you have the time to wait, the same budget can go farther with SEO and last longer. I would say to start with a small amount of PPC if you are selling something, and put the rest of your effort into link-building and buzz marketing. Give it a few months and you should see your traffic build up.
Media buying, banner ads, Co-op, CO-reg, Youtube, forums, social networks, instant messaging.. there are tons
That work? That make money for you? Advertising, word of mouth, affiliates. That's it. Everything else is on the bottom of the barrel, including search engines.
I concentrate most heavily on article marketing (mainly through EzineArticles). When writing an article, I make sure that I am well-versed on the subject, I write from the viewpoint as an expert on the subject. This tends to bring more readers to click through to my site via the article, as well as the SEO benefits from the articles.
U think PPC is okay but.......... It is really expensive and it can get really crazy when you are bidding for placement (as on google for example) and although I can check the traffic stats and see the traffic funneled to the site via the adwords placement, the conversion rates are still low. Now.. I did notice a hike in conversions when I created a decent negative keyword list that filtered a lot of searches. I even had it filter some of the relevant searches too. I only wanted visibility on a few "KEY" key words, but really wanted the most click throughs on targeted phrases. I hear a lot of people say that conversion rates are better on single keywords but in my niche I find it much better on phrases. As for paying for SEO I think any legitimate SEO service will probably be worth it. Especially if you very rarely or never change your sales page content. If your page is properly SEO'd, you may never need to buy traffic. Some people claim that with proper SEO and very rich content, the search engines bring in hords of traffic to the site. They literally had to upgrade their servers. But that method may not work for every market. I believe that paying for ads on social networking sites works very very well... Depending upon the site, will depend upon the campaign costs. Sorry for rambling...
Yeah, I left out affiliates. Especially if you have good sales materials and offer an attractive commission.
The above stuff can get you traffic... ...but to get customers you gotta: - build trust - give them good stuff - treat them well - build long term relationship (blogging for example) - use videos and be personal and of course: - sell them something
Traffic can be got from all sorts of places and methods. Customers is the real trick though. PM me and ill hit u up with a method of getting your webpage/offers directly in front of BUYERS for free. This method also allows u to collect email addresses and then maintain a relationship with them for future sales
I agree, social media and SEO is good, but more long term. I would recommend you to spend some time optimizing adwords. It's also alot more scalable.
