    The meta keyword tag can safely contain 255 characters / 48 keywords.....

    I don't know where you learned that only 4 words can be used but that is incorrect and as such one would have to wonder how good your tool is :rolleyes:

    You can stuff even 100 keywords and google wont consider it !! What we mean by 4 keywords is: "If one targets many keywords in a single page, the page gets diluted to many keywords and will not stay focussed!!! This will ensure even a noob to get the page optimized better"

    Sure you can stuff 100 keywords however... what you said was incorrect and can easily be misunderstood by newbs and many others.

    What I have written is accepted standard practice for ALL search engines!

    I am sure you know that depending on niche, Yahoo MSN AOL Dogpile and many others can & do drive targeted traffic to websites.

    Yahoo for example used the keyword meta tag to spam check against the page content, and this is a reason SEO for each page is essential.

    Most software tools cannot do SEO properly as there are many considerations software does not take into account, such as server location... type of server used ( shared, semi dedicated, dedicated) domain registration history and others I won't reveal here ;)

    Of course yes.. there are a lot of search engines that still consider meta keywords!

    But do you know that around 81.4% searches are in GOOGLE during Jan 2009??? and 63.0% according to ComScore And what you were mentioning abt third tier search engines have only 0.77% ???

    Now you decide if you want to optimize MAJORLY for Google or 3rd tier!!

    Yes I know the stats.....there are also over 1,000,000 registered bartenders in New York ....however that does not mean they all have work....

    50% of the searches done on Google are other SEOs, PPC marketers, affiliate marketers, affiliate networks workers, link builders, webmasters designers, developers, database specialists, computer programmers, computer science teachers, and many many others who have no INTENT to make a purchase....

    You might want to remember that all the traffic in the world... that does not drive sales or revenues.... is worth a grand total of...

    I SEO for all of the search engines and social networks just to cover all the bases!
