Best time to sell a forum?

When would be the best time to sell a forum?

I have a forum that is booming with over 100 new members daily. Of course, this isn't the average, but for the past few days I've been getting over 100 members daily.

I'm considering of selling the forum, however, I honestly don't know if it has potential or no potential. I'm worried that if I sell it, it will eventually grow bigger and I would regret selling it. However, I'm also worried that if I don't sell it, it will die down and eventually be dead/worthless.

What would you do? How do you judge when it is time to sell the forum?

If you need the money, sell it. If you don't, keep it. Pretty simple.

What's the forum? Maybe we could give you some tips on how to monetize it, and if it'd be worth letting go.

Whats the site url and on average, how many post are you getting daily?

When to sell a forum depends on its nitch. Is it about sports, politics, elections, or something year round like sex.

If you are getting 100 new accounts daily, you should be able to put some google ads on it and be making some good money. If you can not put google ads on your site, then look into being an amazon associate. But with that much traffic, you should be able to make some pretty good money.

Some more details like, niche would be more helpful.

However I say hold on to it. You could make some nice cash via Adsense through the forum. Or incorporate some other tactics into it.

How old is it? If you can sustain that rate of growth then I would hang on to it (unless you are in need of fast cash). It should not lose value if it continues to grow like that.

The amount you realise for it will also depend on factors aside from the growth rate, like the niche and traffic sources.

100 new members daily is really good. Hold onto it for now - Let it generate some revenue.

If it's a warez site it's worthless. And I would consider selling when you can no longer maintain it, grow it, or monetize it effectively. Never sell on an upswing imho..sell at peaks or just after an apex.

100 a day is awesome!! I wish i got that. Are they genuine registrations or spammers??

You could employ adsense ads or maybe get a moderator to manage the forum for some money or for a backlink from the forum, if it's taking up too much time!
