I have been writing in many social blogging network and in ezines . I do have few blogs in sports and other entertainment niches as well that generate peanuts. But I would like to be guided in making a couple of blogs to generate a decent income with a 100 to 200 page content to start with.
It depends what avenues you want to pursue in order to make money. Gambling is a very profitable niche from an affiliate point of view, as is finance. If it is Adsense you are planning on using then there are many high paying Health topics.
Forex is the hottest topic right now and very profitable if you want to make money with adsense. It is also the most searched topic on google over the past month.
Gambling sites are banned by Google . It is mentioned in their TOS and finance is a very dry topic to blog about.
Geez, not another one. Go with a topic you know and care about. As I've said 45 other times these will pay out better in the long run because you will be able to maintain interest in them and keep them going. How long can you feign interest and write new and unique/original content about dui attorneys????
I can picture someone wanting to smash themselves into their keyboard after writing 100/200 dui attorney articles Look outside. There are niches everywhere. Hell, you can even talk about leaves and trees. Or dragonflies. There's sites that make over $100/m of just dragonfly pictures.
Thanks for everyone for the shared wisdom . I am still unclear, to be frank! I would give health a try, but then it is so vast. I know no one would share a lucrative niche for fear of competition ! But I believe there is space for everyone on net. Thanks again friends.
It's not for fear of competition, it's because I'm tired of the multitude of scraped/copied sites that show up that have the same article repeated over and over. My own "niche" is not a high-paying one _per click_ but considering it's something I'm interested in, I've been able to keep at it for years and have built it into site that gets enough traffic that the volume more than compensates for the amount _per click_
I prefer Finance, Health, Real estate...I am working with last 1yrs with these three niche and its working fine..Try it.
