Same landing page for different ad groups

Is there anything wrong with using the same landing page in a second or third ad group?

For example if i have enough keywords that i may want to break down the kewords into seperate ad groups, for then writing more targetted ad text for the keywords in those ad groups, is there anything wrong with using the same landing page across say 3 adgroups?

The landing page has plenty of the keywords in place, i know it may be suggested to create different landing pages, but one of the products features is its multiple file format capabilities.

No, nothing wrong with that, Pipes. I have the same landing page on many, many keywords; in different campaigns and different AdGroups. You could use the same landing page in EVERY AdGroup if you wanted.

no nothing wrong with it at all. As long as you have basic site optimization (good relevant LSI title tags, meta tags, image optimization, About Us/contact us/site map/TOS/privacy policy)

    you're fine either way.
If you have a ton of pages that are almost identical though, make sure you put NOFOLLOW on (do a google search on it if you don't know)

that way google doesn't slap ya for tons of duplicate content.

Thanks muchacho79, its not through myself not wanting to create unique landing page per ad group or anything, i really dont mind that, just with this particular situation and product it kinda falls into place of really having ample amounts of a variety of keywords, very relevant too.

Excellent, il go ahead and do that.

Thanks GhostDragon, yes il definately be including the optimization above that you mention.

    Thanks guys.

As far as I'm aware Meta Tags mean nothing as far as Adwords goes.

NOFOLLOW is also something you don't need - it's NOINDEX you need. Nothing wroing with Google following the links, it's indexing you don't want, if you are worried about the duplicate content slap.

No, it won't be an issue, unless until you have all the relevant keywords for which you are bidding in that landing page. Google mainly checks the relevance of the adgroups against their respective landing pages!
