My Site Back link Increased. But Keyword Position No Change. Why?

You need to get more links. Add your site to blog directories, free directories, dofollow bookmarks and dofollow blog comments.

 

google has its weird ways! Not sure about your site, but i have seen people gaining a lot of quality backlinks with related anchor text,from related pages but having no effect on SERPS. May be it will take time for your case.

 

Presently my pagerank is "1". Next update it will come to PR "2" or "3"

 

100 backlinks in google for just 5 day old blog. It is not normal and be careful.

 

Have you send it to social bookmark and social network ?

yes, you are right.This may be caused because your competitor also had gained backlinks to his website.therefore similar position has been maintained

Good luck cracking them pal! You'll need it- Wikipedia are nofollow so there's no real value (apart from non-converting traffic) and as for WSJ...

You're after mega money keywords 'make money online' is far too competitive. I'd go back to the beginning and look at your keyword research.

@bogart- I'm a bit confused with your reply... I was answering Chathura's question on the URLs for WSJ and Wikipedia, dont quite understand why you've mentioned the cache date for the WSJ page- thanks anyway?!?

 

as lots of people probably said already here, although google pagerank is constantly being updated, what we see (toolbar PageRank) is only undated periodically, often about every 3 months or so.

 

Be persistant with the backlink building process as it can fluctuate, also make sure your on site optimization is completed.
