This was my first MMA fight I have been training for awhile now, the ref stopped the fight in the first round because he didnt think I was defending myself to well, while the other guy was throwing some flurries of punches.
Here is a pic of a nice punch I threw.

I am the guy throwing the punch, btw. hehe.

It was superheavy bout, for my next fight I am planning on getting down to 260 to fight at heavyweight, I think I would be a beast at heavy weight so I am going to hold off for 6 months on fights and train hard for heavy weight.

I will, I kind of just froze up in the corner when he started throwing a flurry of punches at me, my sensei was yelling at me to clinch, or take him down (so he said), but I couldn't hear anything the crowd was going crazy from the minute we stepped into the cage until the fight was over.

Aww man that sucks, I used to fight in the UK national championships for Ju-jitsu,

I remember my first fight, I got mauled! XD

I was only a youngster and was like green belt and went up against a black belt 'cuz he was the only guy in my weight class lol...

I then went on a few years later to come 6th in the Northern Championships, kinda by default though... again there was nobody in my weight class, so I opted to fight the guy in the class above me. he was like 5 stone heavier than me lol, didn't throw or grapple well...

So just keep trying and training and try to clear your mind next time you go in :)

    G'luck

Yeah I told myself next time I just need to be thinking about what to do when I get in certain situations, not just throwing some punches.

Amateur mma match elbows aren't allowed. Yeah when he got me in the corner I should have went for a take down but I wasn't thinking.

MMA is sweet, UFC is the killer $1000 fines for hitting thr groin and eyes! yikes!

    Jujitsu eh?

I'm 1st Dan Black in Jujitsu, I trained with the Staines Mushin Bushikan.

I've also had some training in White Crane style Kung-Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Choi Karate, Tai Chi Chuan Old Yang style, Kickboxing.

I'm currently training in Ninjutsu, which is in my opinion the best art.

I want to go to Japan to train with the Ninjutsu Grandmaster, Soke Hatsumi Maasaki and to train with the Yoshinkan Aikido in tokyo, the Senshusei course is the hardest in the world!

    You should come GatorFan!

    It'd be sweet!
