Im using this site to check if there are any backlinks with pagerank but sometimes there is an error or 0 resultes even if I know there are some backlinks. Are there any other free or paid tools that work better?
Normally I use google to check back link search link:www.Url.com at google but a lot people said this method not accurate... how does you guys feel?
yeah yahoo is good to check backlinks but it long process to check it ..How One can offer to show see backlinks in yahoo as it need sign in....:-(
Sometimes that tool is working and I see many backlink with pagerank. Then I know everything is ok and pagerank is real. For some domains there are only errors. backlinkwatch.com is ok but it loads very slowly.
Use both of these: toolbar.google.com (for correct Page Rank) webmastertools.google.com (for back-link tracking & sitemaps) Personally, I don't trust 3rd party information when it comes to Google. Go to the source! For back-links, I've noticed that the Google toolbar usually lists back-link pages that have established PR, while Google webmaster tools will have a more complete list. To make sure all your links are accounted in a timely fashion, make sure that your site and the sites that link to you have xml sitemaps submitted through Google webmaster tools. Besides doesn't Google discourage 3rd party tools that tap into their information? I think they say something along the lines of it overloading their system...be careful
I am using system in php/c++ coded especially for this purpose for some of my big sites, to find and sort whole (for example 10 000 page) site by PR...
Yes, I highly recommend the free SEOQuake plugin for Firefox - quick to download and install, and it allows you to see a wide range of data when you're looking at pages on the Net. Page rank, age of domain, amount of links that website has in Yahoo and Google, and more....all very important when doing keyword and niche research. Dan
