Earlier it was cheap to live in India, but now,if you are going to maintain yourself and your family, then you need to work hard and earn a good money. Here,I have to work for around 17 hrs a day everyday and I hardly get one free day also. I have no options,lol..
He probably lived a very lavish life. Which part of India did he go to? Where did he live? What kind of accomodation was he in? Al that counts. I can buy a 1700 sqft apartment in South Mumbai for 2.1 crores, and in North Mumbai for 1 crore. I can buy the same thing in Central Bengaluru for 80 lakh and in South Bengaluru for 50 lakh. But you've seriously got to enjoy Coorg, Udhagamandalam, Manali, Mangaluru, Munnar, Mahabaleshwar, and Shimla
In India expenses are different in different types of cities. I am in Ahmedabad city which is not costly than MUMBAI city. But at least Rs.10000 required for my family members. If you live in a village then just Rs. 3000 to 4000 is required for you.
It depends on which city you and the locality you live in apart from the lifestyle you choose, i.e. simple or luxurious. I live a very simple lifestyle. My overall monthly expenses are not more than Rs. 5,000/-. Its includes food (I save because I am a pure vegan), electricity bill, telephone bill, fuel expenses, mobile expenses and other petty expenses. Hope that helps you friend.
The spending totally depend on the income. I have seen many people in Mumbai spending rent between Rs.40 K to Rs.100K per month i.e. between 800 USD to 2000 USD and food Rs.4/5 K (100 USD) or more for two person at lunch or dinner. And lower income group are managing in 5 to 10 percent of above.
Well... I am a postgraduate student in Delhi university and writing is my passion. DP is the only source of my income. I earn about $250 per month from DP (as i have little time to spend) and out of which i spend only $50 which includes Petrol charges, food and hanging out with friends, my huge phone bill as i have a girlfriend.... so on... Rest I save for further study...
