I just started using Image ads on my blog- www.growinggroceries.com I've had text ads before, and they've always been very relevant. The topic of the blog is gardening, and every single post is about gardening and very little else, but I keep getting weight loss ads and the like. Does anyone have any idea why I'm getting relevant text ads but not picture ads? I've very new to adsense. Thanks, James
The people running weight loss ads might be targeting certain types of groceries or people gardening their own. Google's system is pretty good at showing ads that are most likely to make money for your site/attract visitors.. though the kinks are a lot more noticable with image ads that are only 1 per ad slot
The image ads are not contextual ads. I run a site on money making opportunities and I get image ads of IBM processors.
Maybe it's like there are only few image ads and/or advertisers of images that are relevant to your site's niche.
There may not be enough image ad inventory related to your site and Google tries to serve related ads.
Image ads are not relevant always in adsense text are relevent in adsense so try one image ad and two text ads in any page
If you have put the adsence codes very recently , be patient. Adsence takes some time to show ads relevant to your content. If you don't like those ads you can even restrict them from adsence account .
Thanks, guys. Yeah, I was wondering if maybe image ads weren't contextual, but the first day I was getting ads for composters and seed stores and other garden related image ads. After a day or so they started showing these other ads...
Simple reason is google main advertising is text ads image ads quantity is low in adsense text ads quantity is very high so you can get very good relavent i text ads not in image ads.Remember image ads are human eye look but you will not get good amount of click to your site always text ads are good in adsense
