I would say that it's at least one third of the DCs showing 0 for Digg. Not an insignificant number by any means.

    Not insignificant at all.
and since digg is not a new site, so the theory that only new sites are being affected is gone.
but showing zero is not a good sign at all, are they purging something..

(sing to the tune of REM's "its the end of the world as we know it")

It's the end of PagRank as we know it and I feel fine.

Checking out the Google Co-op, I've noticed a pattern there similar to Digg. A few other sites on the Co-op like People.com are not showing PR either. Could there be something in special in store for the sites that joined the Co-op? I am guessing Google may be trying to make it happen with its personalized search experiment.

As is my theory that they were doing the update in some sort of reverse chronological order, last-in first-out.

I checked, and Digg is still listed in those datacenters, but with 0 backlinks. We should not start any panicking or rumors, and people should understand that all speculation at this point is just exactly that, speculation... seriously. I've seen some pretty outrageous SEO urban legends stem from smaller stuff than this, legends that have persisted for years.

We need more examples, can anyone find other weird changes? Especially on bigger, higher PR sites?

It looks like it's not happening to other Google Co-op sites, so I don't see a connection there yet (checked 3 so far).

Page rank check showing zero on these two DC's:
    64.233.183.104
    216.239.51.104
for googlesightseeing.com/ and people.com. Other DC's for these two sites show PR of 6 and 7.
Same with Digg.com. All on co-op. There are two more too.

Well I am feeling in the same way but with a difference,
either PR is a history now or its furure.

    Why I think so?
because if google has to end PR, they'd have just announced that PR is no longer available, or th PR is gone, just one post on Matt's blog would have done it.

But it seems that somehow they are working on PR, so IMHO, they are putting much value(or lets say just trying to make page rank the real Page Rank and not just a famous google joke..)
Some major update and purging is going on regarding PR, its just not the fixing of the old deeds, its more like improving the PR..

But thats my assumption and I could be Wrong butr I would love to see the end results.....

Ok, sorry I've not read all the way through this.

Are we saying that digg.com is going down to a PR0 or up to a PR7? - Using the RankAlert tool I'm seeing 50/50 PR0's and PR7's for Digg.com

Ignore me I'm been a thicko - it's currently PR7 so i'tll be interesting if the PR0's showing on Rank Alert come out to be true.

Not seeing any movement on my new or old sites.

Actually, no, I think you are in the wrong forum. This is the "Grammar & Punctuation" forum.

Today, class, we will be discussing the major differences between the Question Mark (?) and the Exclamation Point (!). The Question Mark (?) is, of course, the squiggly one. Other than that they can be used interchangeably in most online chat situations.

    Any questions!

Heh, I'm sorry, was that a question? I got lost.

    I'm getting PR7 for http://www.digg.com/ and PR0 for http://digg.com/.

Ya i've got a question, are you qualified? Lets look back at your posts

Excuse me but I dont think you were supposed to use "is" twice.

Tell me if im wrong but is "em" in the dictionary?

You put periods at the end of your sentences.

    To many periods here.

Did this teacher of mine go to college himself? ( Notice the question mark(?) and not the exclamation point (!).
