    Hello...
I have started a new business here in my state and its a Online Movie Ticket Booking Service. For this,I need a very very very economic printer, which can print great number of pages for less expenditure in the ink or catridge, whatever it is.

I have one EPSON CX5500 printer, which runs with catridge, and it had put me on roads. The catridge gets over for each 10 pages of print out.

I need such a printer now, which can help me out with maximum performance. I have seen in the market, the cyber cafe guy just charges Re.1 for one page of print out.

Plz suggest me the best :)

    I need these following features;

    • Price under 5000 INR or 100$
    • Ink should be very very less costly.
    • I should be able to print out atleast 300-400 Black-White and 200 coloured ones with one ink package.
    • Should give high quality print out of colour pictures.

Cannon is not the cheapest one, but if you want to use it often - ink is very cheap ( last time I got it for 10$ ) !
What about other features like scanner, faxing, etc. ? You want only a small printer box ? :)

Well, if your requirement is not printing in colors, you can opt for HP laserjet printers. they are very economical and print in bulk and fast and quiet. Also not very expensive.

I bought an HP Deskjet F2235 (Print-Scan-Copy) this month.

    Total Cost : Rs 3400
Cartridges : Original HP ones costs Rs 400 - 450 apiece. Refilling them is 3 times cheaper.

I have printed about 150 - 160 pages till now.
Majority pages were printed in grayscale in fast-draft/normal modes; and the blank ink is still about 25-30% left.

No,i also want Colour Print out facility. But I think,I can go for this,as far as it saves me a lot of ink and gets high number of print outs for less ink and also in bulk.

What model are you talking abt ??
    Whats the price ??

Sounds good. But I dont think, its going to get out 450 copies of normal black print out also. Thats the one thing, which drives me crazy. I dont understand, why those comapnies write and advertise all this shit, when they cant do it. :(

Inkjet works quite slow! Laser Technology still works superb

I use Laser in office! it gives instant result for many pages & have Inkjet at home it not works much faster and ink costs higher than Laser Printer

HP works good for most of the users. The toner is also available in the open market and would be cost effective.

I will also suggest you to go for Cannon as the after sales service is good enough & best part is that original ink is so cheap that you can buy them each time..Well with HP, you will end up taking many new printers of cannon which will be equal to cost of its original cartridge each time or two:)
