Hi guys, I'm the founder of Desktop Nexus, a computer wallpaper website. We just recently launched a new piece of software called SpinWall, and are looking for ways to promote it. We get over 60,000 uniques a day to our main site, so our primary focus is to get our existing users on the new software. We recently just deployed a catfish-style advertisement that slides up from the bottom of the screen a few seconds after the page is loaded. It's been online for about a day now and we've received very few clicks from it. I'm wondering if it's not working on certain computers. Would you guys mind going to http://www.desktopnexus.com/all/ (or any other page on our site), and telling me if you see a SpinWall advertisement slide-up from the bottom of the screen? Beyond that, I'd also appreciate any feedback you might have. Thanks!
Yes, it shows up right away. It's a very good looking advertisement. Beautiful site. Really, a great ad, though. Most ads look like trash. That one was designed wonderfully.
Shows up....looks good to go...and dose not look like a spam as it matches the colors and within the site so it's good ..
Good site... Well done This link may be of use to you when wanting to check your site in different browsers: http://browsershots.org/ It allows you to check a page in over 160 different browsers (including version). Excellent tool and registration is painless and so far, for me, spam free. You can use it once every 24 hours without registration. Be patient it can take half an hour or so if you choose many browsers/versions to check. I guess it won't help you much with this specific query, but it may be useful for others.
site looks great you would think its been up for years, real clean, fast loading even though you have 70+ images on first load. The popup at the bottom scrolled up for me too, with msie 7 and xp pro you would never expect its a popup looks like it belongs there to me. Great work komodo. and LOVE the papers nice job.
