Pointed Website in good rank

Hi,

I have pointed domainA to DomainB,
My main Domain is domainB but domainA is in the ranking,
Should i need to remove domainA first to rank domainB in SERP.
Or any other suggestions... Please

 

when nothing is hosted on your domain A then how can it rank on SERPs. Was something hosted on it earlier? If yes, then it will be removed from the SERP once it is crawled

 

First we mistakenly mapped both the domains to same folder. We wanted to point instead.

Now both the website are indexed in google and as the pages are same so duplicate issue arose.

Now we pointed the domain A to domain B, now the question is whether

google automatically remove Domain A Pages
Should we give removal request
Or any other suggestions to get back main domain in ranking

 

first of all remove the site from domain A and then point it to domain B. in the next crawl anomalies will be removed
