You have yourself a very nice forum there, bdsur, congratz to you on a job well done. However, yes, you may want to consider getting yourself some more members (and active ones, at that) before you get over your head with trying to earn revenue. Members are the ones that help get a forum off of the ground and keep it going that way and, without enough of them, your forum could easily 'fall through the cracks'. Definitely focus on promoting your site and getting as much traffic to it as you possibly can and, in addition, try to get some posts going in the areas of the forum which are still "empty" at this time. Often, when a viewer (traffic) sees a forum with an array of empty (not yet started) topics, they mosey on over to another forum to find the answers they are looking for (instant replies) instead of starting up a new thread of their own (often, people are more comfortable with "replying" to a topic rather than actually starting one). If you can get the empty areas of your forum going that, in itself, should help "keep" a viewers interest longer and, hopefully, even get them to register and become active. Of anything I've learned over the years in owning/running a successful forum it is to not just give an audience a topic title but, moreso, the "information" they are looking for "within" that title. However, if you can get some more more members and get those empty spots going, it looks to me like you might have yourself a nice little revenue earner right there. Very nice work!
