Please Give Opinions on New Colors and Header

I recently changed my oldest blog to match it's Twitter page.
It has always had a dark background and it does fine...I'm not changing that, but I am interested in the overall appeal, navigation, and just the general feel of it.
What do you think ?

Interesting - not so much see able for me anyway. Hard to read content on the site.

 

Good and attractive colors. I like your template and design technique. But the flash images are loading little bit slow for the very first time. And the menu are looking very simple, just add some more effects on that.

 

I believe the font color of titles can be improved .

I think text is too bright - hard on the eyes - the rest is very nice

 

OK, I'll try and find something in between, or go to a simple white background and black text. I'll test out a few different options, thanks.

It is too bright...I'll let you know if i think of a good color agreement, I like the purple and the white put you need to make a better contrast to it

 

actually if you make the font a little darker it might work perfectly

 

you really need to change the font color you've.
that is too vague. dark blue color may be more cool... just my 2 cent

 

I like the dark surreal feel of it, fits the topic to me just right.

I assume you mean the headlines on the "Featured Articles" in the scroller?

I tried all shades of blue and nothing really pooped right.

Changing the background color to black to see how that feels.

How's that ?
