Hello, I am having some trouble getting my qs up and the Adwords specialist I talked to says it was a landing page issue but she did not say what exactly.

I have just a one page layout with some links at the bottom of the page. Do I need to have them at the top as well maybe?

Anything else you can suggest would be great as the load time is fast and it looks nice.

Have you added a title tag, meta tags? is the content text and images or mostly images?

Is it relevant to what your advertising? and are the links in the footer to about, contact, privacy policy, terms pages?

Have you placed the relevant keywords throughout your landing page?

Keywords in the title tag, keywords in the content on the page, more than 1 page on the domain, including privacy policy, contact us pages and incoming links. Those things are important to adwords quality score. (no outgoing links to affiliate sites)

I have to agree with that. Hide your affiliate links, use keyword in meta tags, h1 etc.

Some outgoing links to good sites will not hurt your QS.

You need more than one page. You need an entire site that looks professional and like others have said that has site maps, contact, help, about us, and other such pages.

I usually have several links at the top of my landing page like home, sitemap, contact, about and privacy. this seems to satisfy them quite well.

Try adding privacy, terms, and contact links from your home page. Also try to use a software which extract other sites' RSS feed based on your keywords. With this, your QS will go up definitely.

I found that creating a blog is one of the fastest ways to boost your quality score especially with Google. Also add a contact, privacy and possibly a sitemap.

Google absolutely loves blogs! This makes your site look really deep and you don't even need to change the template. It doesn't matter to google as far as your page quality is concerned. Though if you care about seo use a plugin called All In One SEO.

When I started doing this, my quality score jumped. Just install wordpress on your blog at yourdomain/blog and put some articles that are related to your niche and contain your keywords.

If you are only doing PPC advertising and don't expect to be ranked well in search engine results you could just put in some articles from your from article directories such as ezine. Be warned though this will kill your SEO due to duplicate content and is only good for advanced marketers who create separate sites for PPC and SEO.

What I suggest is write 4-5 blogs that have between 250 to 500 words. If you don't know much about your topic you can even rewrite articles (in your own words) that you find in directories. Add other people's youtube related youtube videos etc.

Also, don't forget to use H1 and H2 tags with your keyword within your landing page.

    Hope this helped. =)
