Most colleges have an IP range and am wondering if anyone has had success with this. I have always planned to promote my site services on Campus but I always worry about them Clicking ads with similar IP addresses.

    Anyone know about this issue?

Dun Worri go on and promote your site...

Google do not traces the invalid clicks only thru ip --- They do also traces your physical MAC ADDRESS. and if you have good traffic like 200 UV /day from other sources and ur college campus adds 15-20 UV/ day more it will not efffect your site...

    Thanks

I've always kinda stayed away from this strategy... with adsense I always play it safe. Best thing would be to ask google and see what kind of response u get.

Think again, why you think they require you have their privacy policy on your site?

It's not a very good idea. Google would ban you very soon. beware.

I agree with most others here, avoid this idea. It's not worth getting banned.

Google reads your MAC when you login and do check cookies from browser cache too. They dnt need javascript for this.... go n search first about this...

They have MAC address of all thoes computers where you had tried to login your adsense account.

and with its help they traces self clicking.
