Changing Title/Description - Se Updates?

    Hi all,

I changed my title and desc but yahoo/google still show my old title and desc. It's been one week. I have submitted my sitemaps to yahoo and google a couple of times. I'm wondering, how long do the SE's take to update the title and description of websites? Are there any way to speed up the process?

    Thanks

How long is a piece of string?

Seriously though, it does depend on many things, but mainly how often google crawls your site.

    Try this; cache:domain.com

^ Type the above into google.com search box, and see if Google has a cache of your site with the new details, or not.

From the cache point, it can still take a few days.

Some time google taking weeks, months and yrs for crawling the site.. it based on the site quality. Some site like DP crawling daily so the title and desc will be changed daily...

Just watch the cache dates on your pages. You'll see the ones that have a new cache date also have the changes indexed. It takes time to get to all of your site so just be patient.

Run another xml sitemap perhaps but it should not take very long with Google(largely has to do with pr) yahoo takes flippen forever to update sites from time to time. Folks are asleep at the wheel over there.
