Actually I always curious about other blogger/internet marketers who earn money from Amazon, because I have join Amazon 8 months ago, and got nothing. Please tell me, What's the best way to selling Amazon product?
I think Adwords+Amazon will work.. I also had few amazon book ads in my tech website and it received 500+ clicks but no sale.. So i removed it Create a page for 1 amazon product and advertise in adwords and that will work out coz u will get targeted visitors..
Thanks but I don't have cc yet so I can't join Adwords and I think Adwords is too expensive for me Yeah I'm not rely on Amazon, paid review better than other business
LOL no... If you get good conversions, it is not expensive.. You will get what you spend + the profit.. You must try.. It is not expensive and it depends on what you advertise..
Well Jawahar, let me think about it. Thanks for your info, my friends also try that way to selling Amazon products.
Or you can go for the free way by optimizing that page for keywords that sell and not with the keywords that are browsing keywords . Thats a very important tip mate
What does that mean? What is difference between keywords that sell and ones that are browsing? On your landing page type sites do you make it clear to your visitors that you are sending them to Amazon and if so how and if not what do you do? Thanks.
What would you type as a search term if you want to buy a product and are looking for some last minute reviews and feedback from others ? You would most probably write the specific name of that product example buy/purchase or review of SSXR Mini Pump etc. optimizing your pages for specific product names will bave better results. Although you would get lesser amount of hits from SEs but the conversion rate can be high depending upon how well you have writen/reviewed that product. On the other hand a more general keyword like Mini pump(s) will hardly convert.
Thanks for the tip. I have a site for track pumps which I am targetting for those keywords. Maybe I should go more for specific products.
Bingo ! I didn't knew you had already got a site related to pumps . But you can give it a try and see how it works. Remember to do a thorough research on keywords before you optimize your pages. Great tools for that purpose are Google External Keyword tool and Google Trends. And Good Luck !
Cheers! What do you consider thorough research? I am only going after two keywords. Should I be looking at more?
Thanks for all suggestions. I also get nothing from amazon and i will remove amazon's products from my sites.
I have currently had just over 100 clicks through to Amazon and not a single: conversion. I too am thinking of swapping for a different affiliate
I would say the best way is to pick a specific product that is popular but not with too much competition, and then build a niche site exactly formatted around those keywords, and throw it up and start building links...
There are two primary methods: build a brand site that integrates Amazon's database or build a niche site around a specific product. If you can build up a trusted brand, then people will buy from your site. This methods requires a lot more work, but also allows for possible longer-term payoffs as your brand can revolve around several products/niches. The niche site will get you quicker returns, but is time sensitive in that if the product no longer is desirable, then your site will slowly stop seeing traffic.
I get 75% of my commissions from Amazon in various niches including consumer electronics and video games. Comparison shopping and reviews are the best converting for me. There are days when there are many clicks but no sales. It also depends if your customers are preordering - it shows up as orders but takes a while before the sales register (when it ships - this is true in general). Google AdSense works better for blogs - you don't have to make a sale to make money... Good luck!
