Automated video sitemaps

I'm looking into creating a video sitemap for our site and was wondering if this process could be automated in a similar way to the traditional xml sitemaps. We have a good number of videos and it would save a lot of time if this was possible.

Anyone know of any script that does this?

 

if you don't mind use desktop sitemap generator, then A1 Sitemap Generator can create video sitemaps. (And also automate sitemaps creation. It's described in help.)

A variation of XML sitemaps support by Google: XML sitemap file containing references to video files/pages only.

I did a scan with this app and it seems to produce a standard sitemap. I was looking for one that only spiders video files. This one has thousands of files in it. That can't be right can it? I selected the Google Video option.

 

If you followed the tutorial all way through? Both in configuration for website crawler and then building the sitemap? (Choosing video there as well?)
