Are you talking about adding a feed to the Yahoo site explorer, or something else?

Yahoo crawler is lazy. It takes lots of time to crawl a website. Better you submit xml sitemap using yahoo webmaster.

I've been so hooked on Google that I never knew there was a Yahoo webmaster panel. Link Plz. :)

I see yahoo bot daily, but they must spend a while configuring - I'm guessing - is why they take a while before indexing. ?

Submit your sitemap to yahoo siteexplorer - siteexplorer.yahoo.com and it does index quickly.

    It's supposed to be My.Yahoo.

Yes, this is somehow called "blog & ping" method. Login to your My.Yahoo id, and you can see an "Add Content" Menu below the "My Main Tab". Clicking the "Add Content" text will expand the menu, and you can see an "Add RSS Feed" text at the bottom of the expanded menu. Add your RSS feed there.

Everytime you published a new post on your blog, it is recommended that you ping to yahoo using the following code :

Yahoo usually doesn't index your blog until it is listed on a blog directory or other sites. You can try pinging your blog through BlogBuzzer

I have had very good luck getting blogs indexed within 24 hours by hosting them on subdomains of well-established sites. For example, if you had a car site with good organic traffic, you could set up a blog on do-it-yourself repair as repair.yoursite.com, another blog on engine tuning as performance.yoursite.com, and so forth.

No kidding, I've had zero problems with rapid indexing since I adopted this approach. As an added bonus, new blog posts typically get indexed by Google within 12-16 hours, as long as it's quality content. I tend to prefer WordPress as my CMS of choice for blogging, as it has produced the best indexing results for my sites. Good luck!

I like it TY!!! One little question why the heck doesn't yahoo site indexers verification code not work on blogger? I copy and paste in between < head > tags and it keeps telling me the meta tags are not properly formed. Yes i have copied the whole code before anyone asks.

Sorry but all my sites have been submitted and verified in all major search engines, using site explorer etc, yet google is the only one to have crawled and indexed my sites. All sites have sitemaps submitted too. Just seems the other big two are very lazy at crawling new sites! Sorry gripe over.
