    Guys,

Is keyword separator "|" must to use in page title keyword? Like I want to use word "internet marekting" in page title. So is this necessary to use separator between two words and does this affects? For example I have following options for page title keywords keeping in mind that I will use maximum 2 words in page title.

    Marketing | Internet Marketing
    OR
    Internet Marketing
    OR
Internet Marketing | Space available for secondary keyword

I wish I use "Internet Marketing" as one keyword so people may reach my site if they use "marketing" or "internet marketing" in search term?

    Please help me.

Ok, for example if I use comma, space or | as separator and use "Internet Marketing" as one keyword then will search engine consider my site for all three search terms means

    Internet
    Marketing
    Internet Marketing

Before you choose the key phrase you should know the Google behavior.

"Internet Marketing" having 91,800,000 competitions. Initially do not focusing on 2 word key phrases coz it takes some time to get promoted so start with 3 word key phrases and easily you will get good SERP for your keywords then move to 2 word key phrases (Internet Marketing).

Check your competitor sites and do some analysis on it, you can get some idea.

    For more information PM me.

    Thanks :)

separators are used when you want to tell google that the two words are different. use separators when you want to separate out two differet keywords

Ok, but I have noticed more than 50% website don't use separator in Page Title. They just use keywords like one sentence with comma enabling visitor to find their website with different search terms.

For example one page title can be "How to make money with google adsense". Now this is considered one keyword because there is no separator, am I right? Now search engine will consider this page title for following search terms:

    "How to make money"
    "make money"
    "google adsense"
    "adsense"
    "make money with google"
    "make money with google adsense"

Now you can see that one long keyword without separator is enabling that site to show with 6 different search terms. Am I right? If yes then I should also use this method instead of using separator in Page Title. Please help me.
