Nope, that's cheating in my book. The referee makes the decisions, trying to get your opponent sent off is even lower than diving.

I don't think Portugal played boring football, the match was great and both teams played well. From my point of view the portuguese players never had an specially bad behavior.
On the other side one thing that I really admire about english football is the way the english players respect the referee decisions and do not try to put pressure at him, I don't think that happens anywhere else.

Portugal vs Italy Final for mine. France played very well, but overall when you look at it, they've played one great game in the tournament against an out of sorts Brasil. And they won by one goal.

they shoulda lost if u just gave brazil 1 goal and took it to overtime. They'd see that they might loose and step it up. If it went to penalty kicks no way they win.

I didn't say Portual sucked, well they did, they couldn't beat us with 10 men on the field for an hour of play.
But then England sucked too :p

Sorry Blogmaster but I have to say thay from these sentences everybody can read that you really don't know much about football. The biggest thing France has and Brazil doesn't is TEAM SPIRIT, the thing that is very important in football, because it is a TEAM sport. My friend got big money betting on France, I just didn' have guts to put my money on it because I didn't believe in French team.

I've talked to many many people here in Croatia, and guess what? Noone, I repeat, noone said it would be good that Brazil went through! Why is that? Because people are sick and tired of reading and watching Ronaldino, Ronaldo, Adriano etc. shown as aliens, people are bored with stories about their supernatural talent etc etc etc. Zidane showed everybody what is the real football talent! Everyboday who saw last two of his games realizes that... What about Henry? Viera? Ribery? Trezeguet is on the bench!

IMHO football is more than a game, it is a philosophy. Speaking about football at this level is like speaking about Formula 1 as a race that lasts 70 laps. It is much deeper than that...
