Welcome mate. I just changed a lot on my site including my host and blog platfrom from blogger to wordpress.
what your adsense placement is so encouraging people to clicking over reading,it is set at the very first place.well I no wonder you can make alot from it,but in the eyes of average reader,.exposing "vulgar adsense "like that is annoying my reading experienced and make me :has no interest to Feed your page
The site got loads of content and just max of 3 ads on a page. I dont think i am doing anything excessive
At times it just doesn't matter. I have a decent site, uniques in the 10k region and I get an unacceptable CTR
yes i agree with you mate but still u need some decent money someway or the other to keep running your blog.
Most of the people are used with adsense.. and the ones who has firefox probably has AdBlocker installed, so even thus you have that much of visitors, sometimes they don't even see your ads.. but it does count as an impression anyway. If you try to be "nice" and put ads cleanly, you are losing money, because users have been getting blind with ads, banners they already don't see at all. At least I do not.
INCORRECT, suggest you reread them, too. Here's your proof from adsense themselves: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2008/03/another-look-at-optimizations.html
This does not say that you are NEVER allowed to have ads under headlines, it states that you should not have your headline say something that could make it look to the visitor that the ads are the thing that the headline talks about. Like the example they give: Headline says: Hot Deals and then have an ad block under that, because the visitor would think that the ads are the hot deals. But if you just have the title of an article with the adsense under that, it is perfectly acceptable.
Please provide proof. Since adsense is contextual, the ads will likely be related to the headline which can confuse the viewer, and you have NO WAY OF KNOWING what the ads will be, so why take the chance. Their blog makes NO DISTINCTION between standalone titles (ie, creating a label for an adblock) and article titles with adsense between the title and the article.
You can see adsense ads below post titles including mine and many well established blogs. Its not against TOS if u make a gap or clear distinction between the two.
I don't think putting ads below post titles are against TOS. But using link units just below navigation bar is not allowed. I don't think he has to worry about displaying more ad units. As I understand if there is more than allowed ad units in a page the rest will be shown as blank by google. So since it is showing it is allowed.
I hav seen many wel established blogs displaying link units just below navigation bars.Any one can confirm its not against TOS?
I like the site looks clean very nice theme you chose, spammy? maybe a little but it flows and is easy to navigate.
If I put too many ads on my site the extras just simply do not show up. So I cannot see how you can go overboard in the first place.
Hi friend, nice CTR, but I regret to inform you that the large rectangle below your post title is violating the TOS. It's like putting it in your sidebar under 'Awesome links' which violates the TOS. But, don't worry, I have the solution for you. Just copy and paste this code above your adsense rectangle: <small>advertisment</small> <br/> Code (markup): Good luck
