Highest Paying AdSense Keywords The point is that its stupid only to look at CPC since a keyword is worthless if there is no searches for it!! "Houston Mesothelioma Lawyers" might very well be the "highest paying keyword" as of February 2009, but what is important is to look at the "Highest Possible Daily Expenditure" Column of those lists - and not only at the CPC column. "Houston Mesothelioma Lawyers" wont make you **** money since it has almost NO SEARCHES. The most profitable keyword (right now) is actually 1) Insurance 2) Mortgage 3) Home Mortgage Those are the top #3 (of my list of 15.000 i had). The most PROFITABLE since they have highest CPC + Search Volume. You need to look at those two factors and NOT only at CPC. Also, if you really want to make a good keyword list, get Excel and just cut the first #1000 of those keywords since everyone and their mama is making sites about them - they are too saturated. In my blog i explained a good way to find high paying PROFITABLE AdSense keywords. g.
the sad thing is i am VERY over all that "insurance", "student loan" **** since i made already countless sites for this, and i just dislike this niche, its boring. What i also do in addition, in excel i filter out all terms like "insurance", "mortgage", "loans" etc..etc..and then using my method and any of those lists i will have 200+/- keywords left (from 15.000) which are good. For one KW i am building a site right now, still waiting for my content writer to send me my ordered articles. (Shakes fist!!)
Thanks for the advice, I think that is easier to write about a niche that you really like instead of going for the more profitable keywords.
I agree with your idea: if nobody looks for it, you can't make money with it. Houston Mesothelioma Lawyers has 260 searches a month, suppose they all find my site and I have a CTR of almost 1% boils down to 2 clicks a month. Sure is going to pay your wehosting and maybe even a monthly latte at starbucks But you have to look at it like GeorgeR says as well: -everybody knows these lists or can find them or even buy them (I advice not to spend money on them) -so the variables are: -high payout -relevant ads on context -high volume of searchers -low volume of competition to get visitors easily or cheaply to your site As you can see: you need to know what you can do in order to take on a challenge like this.
...bangs fist against own head... Sorry for spelling your name wrongly GeorgR! And I agree with netmaster123: write about something you love
oww.. that's it! i've a lot of content from that HPK.. if someone wanna this content, just PM me! Very cheap so sure!
Sorry for the bump, guys. But I think here is another good thing that people do not know...Can you see the guy who is two posts above me? I wish I can believe you here. Guess what? I really do not want to sound rude, but I think your $1 per click seems to be scattering around. Would you mind being more useful and ethical? Maybe that can help you increase your earnings more than $1 per click. What do you think?
you eliminate competition by just ignoring the first 1000 of this list, and then with my method you still get 200 or so GOOD keywords, even after filtering out all "insurance" stuff. Also..i am aware that there are "the highest paying adsense KWs" lists all over the net, but some might be outdated, so in this case i did not think it was a bad idea to buy one just to make sure it was really recent. By the way, CPC (payout) also varies heavily depending WHERE your traffic comes from. I can get a a few bucks on "insurance" ads from USA traffic, allright. But from other countries i get only pennies.
