I'm a bit fustrated. I have a website with 2/half years. In late 2007 I was making $150 /month with that site alone but in 2008 the profit droped to half and now in 2009 I'm just like 2008 altought I did changes on the layout, ad format and placement. But no matter how much advertising I do to my website the profits don't seem to come. Can anyone take a look at my website and give me some guidelines to improve the profits? I don't want to put ads that will confuse the user and make it leave the website. I want good clear placement that will earn me more money. I have around 40 clicks p/day
I try that everyday. Buying advertising on other blogs, submiting to social websites, etc... but even months that I have good traffic and high quality content the earnings don't really increase. Maybe $5 with luck
I am stuck at $50 also , even I have high earnings clicks : AdSense for Content top channels 5 1 xxxxx% $xxxxx $2.03 1 click earn $2 , but daily maybe less than 1 click. Anyone know how to drive searchers to my site ?
Frankly speaking, all the adsense publisher know that the earning is going down since google has more and more publisher now. The only way is get more traffic since your CTR is ood enough
mesothelioma has very high paying keywords, my niche doesn't that explains the "odd" CTR. Yesterday I had 61 clicks and went up to $4 this was a very good day for me. As for english ads, the advertiser wants portuguese market, so why not?
The best way to increase your earning is increase your traffic and make a channel to see which ads position produce big earning. To increase the traffic, you has do a right job but you may also consider to write the content regularly, with a useful and interesting content, and promote it. Adsense channel would give you a right tool to track you adsense position and your website layout.
if i was you i would remove the feedburner stats with one listner is tmakes your site seem lonely and no one these days joins a blog with no traffic
My traffic according to Google Analytics it's 25 000 visits /month with around 32 000 pageviews, which it's still in the same area as when I was doing better with Adsense.
