Does PPC Marketing Still Works or Do you guys use other Methods?

I'm wondering is it worth it to invest on PPC marketing when it comes to promoting clickbank products. There are like too much of competitions.

Which is better keyword or content targeted?



I don't wanna know how much money you guys are making nor wateve niche that made you a fortune. I just wanna know which marketing methods do I have to work on, and put some good time to research on

I'm more of an article marketing/SEO guy these days. I used to rely entirely on PPC but now it's just a small part of what I do.

 

PPC works and will always work, but the problem is that you have to KNOW IT PROPERLY.

That's the only way how you can make money with PPC.

 

I've found that you have to make sure that the market isn't glutted with websites selling the same product. I spent about 4 hours going through CB products and found that the current ads on Google were all battling over the same thing which increases costs. I'd take a look at tyBit or Yahoo if Google is too full.

Sometimes, you can find a keyword that is heavily fought over in the PPC market, but with a front page in Google that is incredibly easy to crack with just a little SEO work. As you can tell, I'm an SEO guy. It just seems that so many people optimize their sites incorrectly, that they turn to PPC because they are not seeing any search engine results. However, if you really know what you're doing in the PPC market, you can make big money, fast.

 

Just like what some people commented here, PPC always work provided that you know how to use it properly. PPC can tell you a lot about your audience and your keywords in a relatively short period of time, which makes it an excellent research tool for your organic SEO efforts.

 

I always lost my money in PPC, so I do not use it any more. Now I mostly run ads on other sites and it really works.

 

i think clickbank will become 'closed bank' in 2 year when google and microsoft launch their own affiliate platform!....

 

You should consider PPC as research for your market. It can save you a lot of time by knowing whether the market convert or not. You shouldn't solely depend on PPC to make money.

If you find a convertible offer by using PPC, you can start driving traffic by other methods such as SEO.

 

JAson,everybody know, but SEO take long time to see the result, now also very competitive! if everybody know how to SEO, SEO = PPC!

 

There are other ways, blackhat techniques is for one.

One of blackhat techniques is to generate thousands and thousands of pages (or blogs) just for spider food. Then you redirect visitors to your affiliate links while cloaking the referrers.

But of course the sites that use blackhat techniques could be banned by Google if not done carefully.

 

Article marketing is still one of the best ways to make money through clickbank, just make sure to get your articles submitted to ezine and then to as many others as you can for backlinks

 

PPC marketing works but is not suitable for everyone. You have to be ready to bleed some money first to test out different ad copies, keywords etc. And the margins are never as great as using free traffic driving techniques like article marketing, video marketing, etc.

however, PPC's advantage is that you can get traffic very quick...

getting quick traffic means you can test them very quickly...

There are only two types of Traffic. Free and Paid Traffic

Which one to use? It all depends how much time and money you have.

Paid traffic will give you instant traffic whereas you need to slog for free traffic.

PPC works, however in my mind it isn't the best option. SEO is more of a long-term commitment and sustainable traffic generator.

whatever you choose, be focused and don't give up too soon....

change the product you are promoting if after around 150-200 hops you aren't getting any sales...

The success I have found with ppc involves using a very specific method that tends to max out around $400 a month profit. While most of my money comes from articles, this little bit of money does help increase my earnings for not much work.
