Selling A High Traffic Movies Site

i have a very high traffic movie blog
getting over 1,50,000 visitors a month and growing
90% traffic comin from us and search engines
the estimated price for the site is $27,980 USD
but i will sell it for $20,000 if anyone is interested
it is earning over $1100 pm from ppc campaigns (adbrite and clicksor)
i dont have shit loads of money to monetise with gud program or get it developed, so selling it
but the site is well seo'd and ranks on top ranks on google, msn and yahoo for keywords

Sites of this nature normally sell for 3x - 5x times a month's revenue. $20k is waaay too much.

Those tools will not tell how your website is really worth...

 

Lol. It don`t worth more than 10-20 $ and you are asking thousands.

 

If the site is making $1100 month renevue, WHY inst worth $20?

 

Like the posters before me said, those tools won't tell you the right worth. So, provide us some screenshots of your earnings, some traffic screenshots and since when you are earning 1k $ monthly. If it's only this month and last month wasn't it even 1k $, then your site worth even goes more down.

I see on alexa graphics that your site had in the middle of februar good traffic, and now the last days the traffic went down.

What was the reason? Why was the traffic high in the middle of the month and now it decreased?

Can you explain?

 

i can certainly explain
the site was hosted at hostgator on a shared hosting account
due to the high traffic (over 15000 uv's a day), hostgator blocked my site for about 5 days and forced me to buy a dedicated server, but i didnt have that kind of money so so i turned down their offer and hosted the site at godaddy
because of those 2 weeks of trouble the traffic went down, but i m getting backon track,have restored my position on serp for some keywords,
in a week or something i wud get the position back for my main keyword and i would be rocking again

if those online tools dont tell you the exact worth of your website, then how do you calculate the exact worth of your website

 

those online tools are useless, if u want to know a website value just research how they are selling here and on sitepoint, but i agree with someone above who said streaming sites are within the 3x - 6x range since are actually being blocked very often because hostings not allowing them (also adsense are not allowed there)

i suggest, if u can keep the traffic as this, then just keep the site too and enjoy the 1K/mo u are generating. i doubt it can be sold for that much

i use my site on so many comps with different av's none of them have ever picked up a trojan

Strange how it says he has high traffic but no one leaves comments, the voting poll has exactly 150 votes. I think this is a scam with fake botted traffic, nothing new in this site.

 

You may try using Scam Search to find out. It might help. I still believe that there are still a large number of legitimate companies online.
