A very noble act for a very good cause.. Can you post the link of your photographs before & after so that everyone here can get motivation of doing the same... I think it also needs courage in the act you have done.... Because as far as I know about girls I think they keep dieing at their long hairs..You really deserve an APPLAUD for this!!!
That's awesome that you donated your hair! I did it once a few years ago, and it does feel really great. My hair was a bit shorter than I liked for a while, but it grows back and was so worth it.
I've done it twice and will probably do it again in the next week or two. But right now my hair is so long that I can donate the 10" and what is left will still be almost down to my waist. I bet the sick kids with no hair don't think it's stupid.

Yeah. The hair must be washed and dry. It also has to be in a ponytail or a braid. And the ponytail has to be a minimum of 10" long.
I know of a religious place called TIRUPATI where people do shave off all their head hairs and temple makes a good sum selling those hairs every year.... But never heard about this being practiced...else where too! Regards, RightMan
