    Hi

I am suffering from some sort of design block. I cannot for the life of me figure out what my landing page is missing! I had an idea and it left when I actually started working on the site, now 2 days of revisions and changes ect. I am back where I started.

Could I get some ideas or opinions on what I am missing or should I just scrap this idea and move on.

sample here (please disregard any bad code at this point, I will fix it)

    Thanks

    Matt

Not bad, something around the logo maybe and backgrounds/borders for the 3 sub-boxes.

not bad isn't what I was quite going for :(

I will try some borders again for the boxes. Done!

I have an actual logo with a little graphic beside it. should fill up that a little.

any opinions about the void in the bottom left? or can I keep it empty?

For starters that isn't a landing page. Do you mean your home page? If it's your home page you need some kind of tag line or introduction message, and a logo. If you are trying to get people to register a domain, the button "search domains" is a bad idea, and sends mixed messages. Just say register your domain, or search for NEW domain. When I first read it, I was thinking "Am I searching for something on a particular domain?????" Was not sure what exactly you meant by it.

If this is a landing page you need to think about what you are selling. Are you selling domains, or three different types of hosting? You could have a landing page for each one. Use different templates, and experiment to see what one does best. Currently, you have too many options for a landing page, and no urge to action or purchase.
