I made $30 with 100 hops the other day when I first created my account, and then It made $50 the next day with 200 hops. But the sale stop from then on. Today I got 1230 hops and i made $0... I am going to switch back to CPA now

    Well, Clickbank is weird sometimes...

Are you confident about your product and traffic quality?

Yeh it does not compute, that's how I know clickbanks poor performance in affiliate tracking (been getting progressively worse for years now):(

    Hey DP,

Sorry to hear about that. Don't give up on CB just yet. There are a lot of folks who make a good living promoting CB products, including myself.

    Good luck

CB was f-cked last week though yesterday normal (after complaint). They claimed to have problems the 17+18th but my guess it was the whole week. I would have done... well 70-100 sales that time and I did a measly 15. Also on friday I was converting 1:2200 when I normal average about 1:300...

Yep, also I have several affiliate account, and if you used TID's they will cross your accounts for no reason - how is that possible? I've proved it

TID stands for Tracking Id. A TID can be 8 characters long containing alpha and numeric characters only.

You have to check the quality of your traffic. Yes, it was bumpy a couple of days back but now it is pretty back to normal. Don't give up so easily, man!

I hate these posts where someone chides the poster about "giving up."

Ever heard of testing? When your testing process (plus the testing process of lots of other affiliates who are experiencing the same anomalies you are) reveals that Clickbank is shaving sales, you need to leave them hanging in the dust. This isn't giving up. This is called putting your energies to better use promoting other networks.

When it's your account that starts getting screwed, and you decide to complain about it, I don't think you'll appreciate it when someone comes along and says "you're giving up."

Do some research, folks. On every webmaster's forum there have been TONS of serious, systemic problems reported with Clickbank tracking problems, Clickbank shaving sales, and more. We finally pressured them enough with emails and threats of lawsuits that they are finally posting in their updates area SOME of the hop outages and tracking outages that they're having (latest one on February 17th and 18th.) But what they're admitting to is barely the beginning of the problem, and since this has been happening since October, Clickbank at this point is either unwilling or unable to fix the problem.

Folks - run to Paydot.com or e-junkie and sell very similar products there instead of wasting time and energy at Clickbank. You're going to have a very false learning curve if you continue to try to promote Clickbank products. What I mean is, you'll suddenly be doubting your promotion methods, wondering if you are really doing what you need to do, because one week you'll have record sales and then you'll have two weeks of flat zeroes. And you won't realize that that's due to CLickbank's reporting errors and commission shaving. So please at least cross test everything you're doing with products on Paydot.com or e-junkie so you can understand what you're doing RIGHT....and not be blaming yourself when you have weeks of zeroes.

You're not "giving up" if you decide to stop promoting a criminal organization, folks :) Why give them any more of your money?

    Dan

IMO, ClickBank is broken! and it is very unfortunate.

I used to average dozens of aff sales prior to their recent upgrade (which started around mid October) and currently experiencing the worst sales "drought" ever since.

4 aff accounts....hundreds of hops per day....used to convert around 1.5-2%. But lucky to get a 0.001% conversion nowadays. sales virtually drooped from +/- dozen per day (i am promoting hundreds of different products) to a minuscule hard to believe 2-3 sales per week!

Recently I am getting FULL BACK TO BACK DAYS with 0 sales. This is unheard of (4 affiliate accounts, hundreds of targeted clicks per day), while traffic, and sources of traffic are exactly the same.

Anyone else seeing this ??? it is driving me nuts !!!

Same here, but my sales a day is lower then you.
I did about 1-4 sales a day and then 2 weeks straight 0 sales even though I sent more hops.
Today I wrote a complaint to clickbank through the contact form and now my sales are back to normal, maybe a weird coincidence, I dont know

Yeah it is a shame that Clickbank has these tracking issues when you consider the volume of users that exploit their service. I'm sure they're looking into it.

I've been having trouble with them all this month.

Since September I was able to do 1 - 3 sales per day. Each month I was slowly getting better and better then as soon as the end of January till now my sales have fallen down to almost nothing. How is this possible?

I can understand having a couple of bad days or a slow down but to go from month after month of getting better and better each month then out of the blue to have a sour month just blows me away. I know I'm getting screwed and nothing I can do about it

Update: I logged into my Clickbank account and clicked on Analytics and tried to get stats for the past 7 days, and nothing loaded up (even though yesterday it worked perfect). This just proves that clickbank is screwed up, and a lot of people including myself are probably losing money. One would think with the money clickbank makes that they would have state of the art equipment, but they are probably like my old company I worked for and buy all their crap off E-bay and get refurbished stuff, and waste money trying to fix their refurbished equipment.

Clickbank has serious tracking problems. I never had any issues until today. One of my accounts wasn't loading anything up when I normally get tons of hops each day. Pretty weird..

I've checked again within 10 minutes and the stats went back to normal.

Update: WTF. Stats are fucked up again. Is anyone seeing like 100 hops now.. and 5 minutes later sees like 12 hops instead of 100+?
