Blogging For Backlinks/traffic

Hi,

Ive read a lot about the principle of posting on blogs and including my own link to create both a backlink and traffic.

I am totally new to the blogging game so to see what its all about I picked something I know about...gambling. (Im not sure im allowed to post a link here)....and now the notion of posting on forums has just dawned on me.

Finding gambling forums is no probs, but I cant seem to find a search facility in blogger to search for related blogs. Any body know where I can find a pile o gambling blogs, and what the best way to post to them is.

Also, whats this RSS thing all about, and will it help me in my quest?

you could try comment kahuna, its free and it works well

 

Just use blog aggregators (for instance google blogsearch!).
Type in your keyword -> voila 50k new gambling blogs.

Now try to select blogs which allow comments, at best dofollow + high PR and youre done

its depend on what you need!
if you are need visitor then trafic is more important like for adsense blog, etc
but if you are want to sell link or want to increase blog popularity then PR more usefull.
but i think both very usefull, i try to get all both traffic and PR

 

make sure your comments are meaningful and relevant, otherwise you'll get branded as a blog spammer, and then your efforts will be wasted. Try to write something that fits in with the post, not just 'Hey, great blog, I'll come back soon!' (instant spam button click).
