Newbie's confusion dissuade promising start ups

    Hi all and thanks for reading our post. My girlfriend and I are new to adsense and blogging and we have questions about the process of payment, and more specifically this: How are we earning money by posting 'blogs' or 'posts' or whatever the technical term is for what I have typed into this little white box, and that in real time you are now reading. If you are reading this, what does this mean to me, and..... What does adsense even care? If you respond to this, then what does it mean to anyone, and what benefit do they, you or I have in it. We are trying our best to be patient and learn, but the combination of a lack of time, confusing or seemingly misleading instructions, and a general sense of misunderstanding of how this whole process works is becoming so frustrating that we find ourselves walking away from the computer to having arguments or tempertantrums. If someone out there who has experienced some success and has understanding in this process and can guide us to a smooth start, (and to getting us to start making money soon). ;) We will greatly appreciate it. We are really hoping to hear from you soon. Sincerely, John and Isabella.

    What does adsense even care?

    They make millions of dollars, and you get a % of the profits generated on your websites.

    ``````````
    At the start you are better off focusing on something you enjoy, the money will come later.
    Thank you for responding, and we hope to hear from you again soon Gemini181 (sorry, being a naturally kind person I dislike the distancing of callsigns or pseudonoms). In your return post you said I get a percentage of profits made from my websites. I have a couple of questions about that, namely, do blog posts also count as websites? Most importantly, we would like to know if we get paid by impression as well as clicks, meaning if people see the adsense pick up a word and attach an ad, do we get paid if they don't click on it? Thanks for your help and advice.
    Ok listen. You are asking 100 questions at 100 miles an hour. Slow down and cover the basics. Firstly a blog post is not a website. Read here first - what is a blog?
    Simple intro to Adsense here - just read the text on each of the links i have given you.
    Once you are done then ask some more questions so we can answer them.
    Avoid fools like flix999 trying to sell you something. There are a lot of scammers that will ask you to PM/Message them when they can easily post a reply here, what are they hiding? As I said, watch out for the opportunists.
