Good idea, and its fairly unique. I'm not entirely sure its really the style (the icon) I'm looking for however.
I don't think that is really an improvement unfortunately. Not really the style I'm looking for. I quite like these; the top icon is best as the others look stretched. However, I think the I like the text on the bottom one best. I may come back to this one and ask for some revisions - although I like the icon, somehow it doesn't quite seem obvious enough about what its meant to be! If you'd like to try a few variations, go ahead. (Remember, I like the top one best as the others look stretched but if they didn't look stretched I may prefer the others!).

Wow, some more great entries and this is a really hard choice now. Please note - the competition is now closed for entries. I will decide on a shortlist of 3 logos shortly and then may request a few revisions. Then I'll choose the final logo. However, choosing a shortlist of just three is going to be very tough as there are 9/10 logos I like which could be winners!
Ok then, I've made a decision. I can assure you it was not easy! The final shortlist is: willhaynes tDesigns dimitri123 I've had to consult some friends about this too and I had a list of at least 10 logos I liked. Creations4You - I liked your last attempt very much but it was similar to willhaynes concept, and his was first! I know you probably didn't intentionally copy his, and I really thank the effort. TightWad - I think I actually preferred your first logo on reflection but it was just too simple. I did like it though! balpha - I liked your concepts but they were just usurped by the others in my shortlist. They were the kind of style I liked though - if there hadn't been so many other entries I'm sure yours would have been on the shortlist. crowquill - some nice logos there. I did like them and they came into consideration for the shortlist but I eventually decided they were just not quite the right style for me. I also liked a few of the other entries, including some of the ones recently submitted for example ])CoDeN([ and matchstick. I really have had a very tough time deciding this shortlist. I will PM all of those on the shortlist soon with revisions. Thanks to all who entered for your creativity and time taken on the designs. Your input is appreciated!
