Visitors only visit my site not blog and i update blog

for this site i only update my blog pages and if i will convert my static site into wordpress then i will lose the ranking,

setting redirection url will also create problem becoz url or in 1000s. What i should do , do i just need to update static site and forget blog. (Dynamic site is easy to handle)

Can you clarify the problem.. It seems very vague to me.. Can't dissolve the idea.

 

problem is more ppl visit website which has old content while blog is 3 months old and has new content updates, and my visitors and earnings are also going down becoz ppl do not find new content (becoz they are not visiting blog)

Now what to do for getting visitors and earnings , should i move blog to home but in this case old site pages will lose rank

 

I have been there and I really keept it as it was and updated my blog a lot more and putted up a link to blog so it wasnt easy to miss

 

tell me the way what to do now In the past i place blog link in sidebar and nav bar but it did not work yet. RSS feed link is also at homepage (Static site)

 

Make a link in the content, View our blog for more cool recipes or such. But just keep updating your blog and the traffic will evenutally come there too

also you should setup a news letter from your recipe site

 

add a link to your blog from your main site, can you not use a subdomain for your blog, like blog.yourdomain.com?

 

why dont u try backlinking ure site to the blog?

 

I give backlink , placed blog code at site, have sub domain but i do not know why ppl only visit site.

 

Force the visitors some how you should win...

 

Link bait is what you need, try to come up with some interesting anchor text or titles of links directing to your blog.

if u want to make wordpress blog then u can do one thing without lossing anything.........

place this site to subdomain and start posting all data on wordpress blog. may be u loss your ranking but u will gain rank again.

i have subdomain and i notice subdomains take less pr compare to main domain

 

I just looked at your site in firefox and the top set of links dont appear properly. They are hidden mostly so you can only see the top few pixels of each word. Try and fix that and more people will see the link to the blog.
