I like this style and this logo appeals to me. Its one of the top 3 so far and in 1-2 days I'll define the final top 3 and then ask for revisions then. So, basically what I'm saying is, leave this concept as it is for now and keep an eye on this thread as I'll announce the top 3 soon (they will be the ones I may ask for revisions on).
Firstly, 'script' is spelt wrong! This is along the right lines, but a bit to 'cartoonish'; this may be due to the gradient effect you have on the icon. Also, the icon could do with being a bit more unique, rather than a standard font letter with some effects. So, I think its an ok logo, but isn't unique enough yet.
I like this better than the previous one. Not sure about the text (font) but I do really like the icon. Certainly has potential - can you try a different font and on the background specified in the first post? PS: There's only one 'T'
@Tightwad - I absolutely love your first entry. Very creative. @creations4all - I know that it's based off the original logo, but this still seems a bit close for comfort @Bio - I'll make revisions a bit later, sounds like this is going to be open for a while!
is it supposed to be on white or on your web background colors?because some sample made i think wont match on your web background colors...
OK, as promised I tried something simpler. Web 2.0 icon, and simpler text. Hope you like this one better. Feedback appreciated.
this one i've just found a lil bit close to willhaynes..but this one is a shape of my collection i've made so its my original one..ready on white or on your background : colors are editable on your request...
Both are closer to the style I'm looking for. I prefer the top one but am not sure either are currently frontrunners. I do like this one better. Not sure if I can suggest any improvements at the moment, maybe just try separating the icon from the text. I think the icon is too similar shape-wise to willhaynes'. I'm not keen on the colours really either. So I don't think this one is worth pursuing unless you can change the icon and make it different to willhaynes' one.
well actually this logo (don't know about willhaynes logo, i think it's similar too) if you pay close attention is similar with the taichi logo, all you need is just get rid the small circle at the right top and left bottom then change the color = you have this S logo..that's what i think when i saw willhaynes logo..
Yeah, that's good, I will be considering that logo. I like the top one as it seems fairly unique. Could you just try it without the gradient, I'd just like to know what it looks like. The bottom one doesn't really work for me.
I like the simplicity. I'm not sure I prefer it to a couple of the other designs however, I can't really make my mind up with this one. Not really a fan of the 'stretched' S unfortunately. Its fairly simple, which is what I'm looking for, but I don't think the icon is unique enough. Not really the style I'm looking for, and I don't think the icon is memorable enough.
