Hi! Some days before i founded a web site selling notebooks, iphones, ect... I contacted on MSN with a girl called Sara from China. She told me that i must pay the notebook and then she will ship it to me. I like an idiot payed with bank transfer 305 EUR (she can't accept paypal payments, maybe from disputes) Then i sent Receipt. She wait some days and confirmed payment. Then she told me that i must pay a TAX for customs 150 EUR Anyway i was paying 315+150 without any warranty. So i told her that i will not pay the tax before receiving notebook. Then after i will receive the notebook i will pay the tax She told me that she sent the notebook on Wednesday but will give me DHL Tracking number on Friday. I have contacted her on Friday, yesterday and today but she ignored all my messages via MSN. She was online because i contacted her from another MSN and she respond. But when i told that i was the client waiting for tracking number she never respond again In my country i must work for 2 months to get 315 EUR My family is asking me everyday when the notebook will arrive Please help me. What can i do I will show this thread to this girl from China and if she will not ship the notebook again i will post her MSN address here, her telephone number, her Bank Account, her Web Site Please help me
You've gotten scammed.. see if you could reverse the funds by talking with the bank manager. Other than that, nothing you can do.
I'm afraid it's a case of 'buyer beware' - there were enough flags sent up to warn you things might not go smoothly. At the very least, always use a payment method that has some kind of dispute procedure such as your credit card or PayPal.
I`m sorry to hear this, but I'm 99% sure that you have been scammed. Dunno what to say, but next time be more careful, make a good research on the site or the person and don't send money trough money order like westernunion or moneygram.
Personally, i wouldnt have beleived that any chinese woman would be called Sara? Maybe in daft. The best advice is to stick to the usual outlets, where you'll get your cash back in the event of a dispute. Im fairly certain you could have got a similar deal on ebay, etc, and if the deal with the chinese doll was much better than the norm then the alarm bells should have rang! Sorry buddy!
It's too bad, but treat it as a learning experience. Post the relevant details. Her name, company, etc., and you might help prevent someone in the future from being scammed.

You should contact the Chinese goverment or who ever rules china. They are very strict about things like these and if they get cought they may suffer many many life times in jail. I'm not really sure how you should process this but try search about it.
Thanks KeyboardHustler but how can i pursue her legally? Is there any site or address when i can post I also have receipt that prove the transfer that i made Thanks
I would be calling that # 24/7 And contact the bank you sent the money to and your bank as well. I hate scammers!! You can also report her site to the fbi. I have done that before and the site was removed... Current Registrar: XIN NET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION IP Address: 58.30.225.41 (ARIN & RIPE IP search) IP Location: CN(CHINA)-BEIJING-BEIJING Record Type: Domain Name Server Type: IIS 6 Lock Status: ok Web Site Status: Parked DMOZ no listings Y! Directory: see listings Web Site Title: BUY-HOT.COM Secure: No E-commerce: No Traffic Ranking: Not available Data as of: 22-Apr-2008 The Whois for the site, not much info though I also sent "Sara" a message letting her know I know she is a scammer. So I think everyone should fill up her mailbox with that...
Definitly contact bank of china, we will be more then happy to help. I will hear with a friend how he did when he had some problems with no items coming.
Do you have the msn chat history? If you have it,you can sent it to the bank fraud department and tell them the whole story. That why whenever i buy thing online,i will use escrow service to prevent scam.
Great But how can i find the Address of bank of china? @bestserviceforyou, @CTThompson, @KeyboardHustler : have "Sara" responded when you spoke with her? I'm still on MSN with "Sara" but she continue to ignore all messages
