Is it legal to put streams of a tv serie on your website ? The videos are hosted on megavideo for example and I embed the videos into my website. Will my host ban me if they find out (godaddy)? And will I get lawyers at my house ? Just being cautious hehe.

Yes, your host can take down your site or terminate your hosting for displaying embeded copyrighted material. Yes, you can be sued for contributory infringement even though the material is not hosted on your site.

I heard different, if you have a video on your website using the embedded code that another website offers, you are NOT in infrigment and you are NOT liable, but the lawyer could have been wrong
