Nice Keyword rich name. Did you hand reg it or used a drop catching service?

    Mid to high $XXX

I don't really follow it very well...

    the domain is long.

the 2 words don't go together that well.

    the idea is not clear.

    What gives that value?

Actually I'm confident that those keywords are marketable. All the panic regarding global warning coupled with the "turn it off" campaigns would make this an easy adsense earner should it be monetized.

adsense revenue is very low after the creation of content network about 2 years ago.

Unless a huge site is built, the revenue is about $5-$10 a month being optimistic.

it should take something like 10 years to recover the investment of the domain alone... mmmmmm

    7.5 * 12 * 10 = $900. That would be one expensive domain

Based on your estimate of $5-10 per month (Average $7.50) for 12 months a year for 10 years Ad revenue would be $900.

The cost of the domain for 10 years isn't going to be above $120 so you'd be well in the black.

    Just my two cents :)

Enough math talk - its a nice domain and I wish you the best of luck with it.

Exactly my point actually... if adsense is the only business model the domain can go after the value would be something like $120 (one year revenue).

Well... yes, now I understand the low xxx valuation.

    Thanks!! :)

My appraisal strategy is not to depend on adsense or any other advertisement potential.

IMHO the domain has good keywords and is highly valuable to an end user such as "green" based hosting or software companies. Similar domain sales with these terms are quite good. Socialcomputing.com went for $2,100

There are good google results in this term with some ads.

But ultimately the value depends on how much the end user is willing to pay for it !

Thankyou so much for your opinions guys, your time is much appreciated. As it's my day off from work im gonna scour the net for potential end users and maybe see if I can generate any interest. Any advice where I should start?
