Hi fellas, What is the general thought around creating various pages/lenses on big social network sites like HubPages, Squidoo and including a link back to a money page (keeping in mind that most of the social network sites are nofollow)? Do these powerful social network sites still boost Google rankings in SERPS? Or is it just a waste of time and work? This question also relates to social bookmarking pages, as many are nofollow. What is the advantage of having these big/great/authoritative sites link to your money page, with the appropriate anchor text if they are nofollow? Thanks.
IMO nofollow links still matter, you create links to get traffic, even if they are nofollow they will drive traffic to your site, also when these pages rank they will get their own search engine traffic sending some of that traffic to your website.
