adsense and 400 page errors

I have just had a few private messages in my forum http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/forum1/index.php telling me that one of the google adsense banners is not working correctly.

Apparently if you click on the Barclays advert, which says get £55 back when you take out combined buildings and content insurance, shows up a 400 error and so the page cannot be displayed.

The banner was on my site yesterday and is still on today, what I need to know is, if domeone clicks on the banner will I still get paid or not and will Barclays still get charged, even though it shows a 400 error?

I'm away from home at the minute and so I can't log in to my adsense account, If I was at home I would temporarily ban the ads as a precaution, so that they don't get charged.

Any advice on this would be welcome?

    Yes and yes!

Adsense logs the clicks on your ads, and that's what you are paid for.

It's the advertisers responsibility to ensure that their site is available to recieve the traffic they're paying for. They can easily pause or delete their campaigns at any time. They have agreed to the adwords terms and conditions and they therefore provide authorisation for these charges.
