Too heavy, not really what I'm looking for. Perhaps simplify it a bit. At the moment, not really what I'm looking for. I don't like the font or effects really. See my reminder at the bottom of this post. REMINDER TO ALL: I'd like a 'web 2.0' logo; one which is simple but looks good. The font shouldn't be too fancy or have loads of effects such as shadows. The icon should be brandable and fairly simple too.
Thanks for the heads up. People, please keep the work original. I'm looking for a unique icon not a recycled one you downloaded somewhere!
No worries, each person's choice is personal. If this contest is still open tomorrow i might try a simpler one then.
They seem a bit 'cartoony'; I'd prefer a more professional, web 2.0 style. I like your logos but am not quite sure yet. I'll wait for some more entries and then if I decide yours as a winner/one of the top 3, I may ask for some more revisions to the concept. I like this one. Not sure about the font though - maybe try a couple of others. The icon is definitely one of the best so far, although maybe the 'S' could be accentuated at the bottoms more, so its a little more obvious it is an S.
I can't decide with this one. I like the simplicity, yet the logo feels like its lacking something. The icon is almost too simple. Sorry I can't be more specific, I'm just not sure about this one yet. Maybe try adding something to the icon.
Yes sorry I missed that! On a darker background I just don't think the icon is imposing enough nor is it entirely obvious what it is. So I don't think this one works with the colour scheme unfortunately.
