What are the advantages of Directory???

    From submitting to them, the advantages i have experienced are:

    "Clearer looking skin, a lot more girls approach me now than before i had started using web directories"

    Im just kidding ;)

    No but the advantages are ranking for keywords, dependant on other factors though, like competition and other stuff.

    Its good when you're in some niches where the other more established sites within that niche dont have a clue about seo or just dont do any.

    You can enjoy creeping up on them and at times taking their spot on first page.

    This is achieved with directory submissions targetting plenty of keywords and phrases.

    A directory will give you a back link that google and the other search engines will see and help you in your SEO. When submitting be sure to use some of your targeted keywords int he description and post in the proper category.

    It's part of a SEO campaign.
