Why YPN as opposed to Adsense?

Im just wondering about all of those currently using YPN, how come you decided not to use Adsense on your sites and YPN instead? I have never applied to YPN as I just prefer use Adsense. But i have considered applying if the price was right.

Does anyone here happen to do "arbitrage" with YPN? I have always been interested in this.

You do what is best for the project. Why would anyone invest all their efforts into a single income stream? Diversify.

People would love to sign up for YPN as it would be a great alternative to high-handedness of adsense but then they have to open the doors for publishers from rest of the world...other than US.

That's true, its so hard to get into YPN. Even my cousin in Chicago cannot get approved for a YPN publisher account. I hope that Beta will soon come... its been ages since they said that.

    Thanks

YPN is a total mess and unless you are banned by adsense, it is a complete waste of time. The payouts are so low you couldn't make any money - not to mention their horrible ad targeting. Huge sums of money were made with arbitrage when they first came out, but those days are long gone.

Been applying to YPN for a while, haven't heard anything yet. Sure agree with the diversify stream idea.
