Is blog commenting useful ?

Responsible commenting is definitely the way to go. You want readers to appreciate your posts.

If you just junk up the comments section, you are doing yourself a disservice in many ways.

One the blog owner might delete your comments.

If other people and you junk up the comments, the blog may lose credibility with other webmasters, causing people to stop linking to the blog, thereby eliminating link pop for that blog, and forcing your comments to end up on a site that will soon offer no value to anyone and have no credibility within google's algos.

Blog commenting is very usefull. It gives strong backlinks. I think google gives a value on blog commenting.

 

Blog comment posting is not useful because maximum blog comment has no follow attribute, so it is waste of time...

2. the other blog owner notice you , that way you can build your network
3. Comments gives you back link
4. Valid comments are always welcomed by readers

1. Make sure you are first to comment
2. Provide your link if possible

It helps in many ways including building back links but most of all it helps in building a network or relationships.

When u leave a comment always start a conversation and participate. That way even ur buy amoxxicilin anchor will be approved. Not that I am askin u to start spamming, but u can always have aghreat site about amoxillin no?

 

I don't think it's a waste of time. Even the blog has nofollow attribute, it can still help provide additional good traffic as long as you leave quality comments on relevant blogs...
